Last updated July 27, 2024 Hoard of Richmond, Virginia Checks with R15 Double Transfers

This is an accumulation of bank checks acquired from a single auction lot, interesting in that many exhibit double transfers ranging from very minor to extremely dramatic. Because they are on checks from the same bank, it is quite possible that many of these came from the same sheet or sheets. What is also interesting is that these are confirming examples on silk paper (Scott #R15d) of double transfers currently only listed on non-silk paper (R15c).

The checks are listed in chronological order.
