Improper use of R4c and R9a as postage on a cover with Civil War 'paste on' patriotic label featuring General George McClintock affixed. There is no way to know whether the label was contemporaneous or added after the fact, but the important aspect is the improper use of revenue stamps. Finding an imperf and perf together on cover is incredibly rare.
